SUNY Ulster Head Wrestling Coach, Brian Vutianitis, has stepped down and accepted a position as Assistant Wrestling Coach, at Coker University in South Carolina.  Vutianitis became Head Coach in 2018 after Justin Signorelli left the program for Western New England University.  In his two seasons leading the Senators Wrestling program, he helped develop 7 wrestlers into NJCAA National Qualifiers.  Two time National placer, Gavin Pasqualini, lead the Senators in his two season in Stone Ridge, earning a Region XV Invite Championship in 2019, as well as a District Runner up, in route to the National Tournament.

Vutianitis leaves behind a program entering it's fifth season of competition after a 35 year hiatus.  Top returner to the program is Dan Heffner, a National Qualifier in 2020.

A National search is underway to find his replacement.
