STONE RIDGE, NY – Following a double overtime thriller against Middlesex Community College which resulted in a tie, Women's Soccer returned to action against Springfield Technical Community College Rams on Thursday.
The Senators dominated the entire contest, defeating the Rams by a score of 8-0.
Sophie Santiago and
Elexis Smykla lead the Senators with two goals each.
Achaia Gindele,
Daniela Briones,
Alexandra Gonzalez-Caballero, and
Anahit Cumbal each added a goal for the Senators.
Santiago was also an active facilitator, dishing two assists for the contest.
Jessica Ortiz added an assist for the Senators.
Sierra Barbiani and
Daniela Briones shared duties on goal, keeping a clean sheet for the match. Senators improve to (4-2-2) on the season.
Senators will return to action Tuesday, October 4
th, as they travel to Albany, NY to take on Bryant & Stratton – Albany. Kick off time for that contest is 4 p.m.
