SUNY Ulster Men's Basketball team fell to Essex Community College in their home opener on Saturday, 70-66.  Four players scored in double figures for the Senators, who fell to 0-3 on the young season.  Chase Monroe lead the Senators with 16 points and 16 rebounds.  Christian Villanueva was strong off the bench, tallying 12 points and 8 rebounds in the loss. Raquan Bryant and Kervin Benoit scored 12 and 10 points respectively for the Senators who shot 35% from the floor as a team.
The teams looks to get back on track when they travel to Albany Pharmacy on Thursday for a non-conference match up.  Game time is 7pm.
