SUNY Ulster Men's Basketball team survived visiting Bronx CC in overtime by a score of, 91-90. The two teams battled all afternoon, exchanging leads until Ulster was able to close the game out in the final seconds of overtime to earn their second win of the season. The Senator, 2-3 overall, was lead by freshman PG
Kervin Benoit. Benoit, tallied 22 points, and added 7 rebounds, 4 assists, and 2 steals in the victory.Â
Rayquan Bryant continued to be a spark on offense, adding 23 points on the afternoon. The Senators provided balanced scoring with five players in double figures. Freshman Michael Benitez came off the bench and helped with 14 points, 5 rebounds, 2 assists.
The Senators return to action on Tuesday, when the team travels to SUNY Sullivan for their first Region XV matchup of the season. Game time is 7pm.
