SUNY Ulster Baseball opened up their series with SUNY Dutchess with a win on Thursday, defeating the Falcons 12-4.  Keven Franco went the distance on the mound, allowing three earned runs on five hits, while striking out seven, to improve his record to 3-0 on the season.  Ulster bats came alive in the middle innings helping the Senators to the win.  Genesis Nunez had a big day at the plate with a home run, two doubles, and three runs batted in.  Tyle Guadagno also added three hits and three runs batted in for the Senators.

Both teams return to action on Friday as they resume the series at Tony Williams Park in Highland, NY at 3:30pm.
