In game one of the doubleheader Monday night, the Senators feel, 7-6, to host Rockland. The Senators rallied in the seventh inning, scoring five runs to cut Rockland's lead to 7-6. But, the Hawks pitching staff closed the door in the final two innings to secure the victory.
Ronny Del Rosario had three hits, and three runs batted in to lead the Senators offense.
Genesis Nunez suffered the loss on the mound, allowing seven runs in 3.1 innings of work.
Branden Perry entered in the fourth innings and held the Hawks scoreless over the final three innings.
