Kelvin Nunez scored twice off SUNY Ulster set pieces to down Rowan College, 2-0 at Dietz Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
After a tense, scoreless first half, SUNY Ulster was able to pounce on the lead with only seconds remaining before the break.
Edgar Garcia (FDR) sent a driven corner kick to the back post for
Kelvin Nunez (Fallsburg) to head home for the Senators lead.
The second half saw more back-and-forth action with Rowan coming close to equalizing a few times.
Justin Dunikowski (Wallkill) was fantastic in goal for SUNY Ulster again. Dunikowski would be forced into making 7 saves to preserve the shutout.
In the 77th minute, Nunez would complete his brace and propel Ulster out of reach. Again, Garcia's corner kick found Nunez on the back post and he made no mistake blasting home the finish.
SUNY Ulster outshot the visitors 12 - 10 in the contest and the sides each created 4 corner kick opportunities.
Men's Soccer is back in action on Tuesday as Sussex CC will visit campus for a 4PM match-up at The U.
