SUNY Ulster Baseball ended their season in the the losers bracket of the Eastern Sub-District Championship on Saturday, falling to SUNY Orange 11-10.  On Friday, the Senators were defeated by SUNY Monroe 6-3 in game one of the tournament.

In game one, the Senators battled to a 3-3 tie into the 8th inning.  Freddie Callo went 7.2 innings, allowing three runs on seven hits.  The Senators had chances to take the lead, but the Tribunes pitchers battled to keep the score tied.  Reliever Max Hover entered in the 7th to get the final out, but the Tribunes knocked in three runs in the 8th to help secure the victory in game one.  Kelvin Gutierrez drove in two runs, and Ty Orologio drove in a run to pace the Senators offense.

In game two, the Senator took on Region rival, SUNY Orange.  Both offenses were putting up runs early.  The Senators were led by Kelvin Gutierrez, Alex Avala, Hunter Traenkle, and Logan Devries who each had two hits apiece.  Robert Bradley took the loss on the mound, going 3 innings, allowing seven runs, on five hits.

Coming off the Region XV Championship on May 8th, the Senators ended the season with a 10-8 overall record.
