Box Score The SUNY Ulster Women's Soccer program prevailed in Double OT on Thursday, defeating The Word of Life College 2-1.  The win is the first for Head Coach, Gerardo Martinez, in his college coaching career.  The Senators are now 1-1 on the young season.

Down 1-0 in the second half, Alexandra Gonzalez-Caballero scored in the 65th minute to tie the game. Then, late in the second overtime, Sophie Santiago put home the game winner to secure the Senators first win of the season by a score of 2-1.

The shorthanded Senators were relentless all game and battled through overtime to earn the victory.  The Senators return to action when they travel to SUNY Hudson Valley on September 28th.  Kickoff is set for 4:00PM.
