STONE RIDGE, NY – Following a loss to Dutchess Community College back on Thursday, Women's Volleyball returned home on Saturday, as they took on Westchester Community College Vikings. Senators would defeat the Vikings by a score of 3-1.
Angela Mayer paced the Senators with 18 kills. Mayer currently averages 4.69 kills per set, which is good for 5
th overall in NJCAA Division II. Mayer's 5.5 points per set is also ranked 5
th overall nationally. Mayer also added 18 digs, 3 aces and a block for the Senators.
Esvetlana Mullins had an all-around performance, finishing with 28 assists, 15 digs, 4 kills, 4 aces, and 3 blocks.
Julia Barnett added 5 kills and 3 blocks.
Gigi Koch led the Senators in digs with 23 total.
Alexandra Maher finished with 3 blocks.
The Senators will remain at home for their next contest against Bronx Community College on Tuesday October 11
th, in what will be their sophomore night. Start time for that contest is 7:00 p.m. in Senate Gymnasium.
