STONE RIDGE, NY – Coming off of their 5-1 victory over conference opponent Orange County Community College, Men's Soccer returned to action as they hosted non-conference opponent Monroe Express on Saturday.

The game was a competitive back and forth affair, with no team finding the goal throughout the contest. The Senators held the advantage over Monroe on shots 23 to 17, shots on goal 16 to 4, and corners 6 to 3. Cody Baker had 4 saves for the Senators.

With the tie, the Senators are now (5-1-1) for the season, and (2-0) in conference play. Senators will return to action Thursday, September 22, as they travel to Gloversville High School (Gloversville, NY) to take on Fulton-Montgomery Community College. Start time for that contest is 6:30 p.m.
