A hard fought battle earns the Senators a 3-3 draw vs #6 ranked Nassau CC.

A back and forth match would see the away side strike early, scoring in the 4th min to give Nassau a 1-0 lead.  Ulster would respond in the 19th min when Ashaasea Sankofa (Salesian) fired a left footed shot past the keeper on a pass from Owen Canjura (North Rockland).  Ulster was then awarded a penalty in the 28th min, Imari Harris (Kingston) placed it high to the left corner, the keeper saved it off the cross bar, but Harris was there to put it away to give the Senators a 2-1 lead.    Nassau answered back nine minutes later tying the score 2-2, but Ulster substitute Renzo Scanu (Wallkill) made an immediate impact off the bench and gave the Senators the lead again in the 43th min, giving the home team a 3-2 lead at halftime.  Nassau took control early in the second half and would tie the game at 3-3 in the 57th min.  Nassau sustained most to the possession in the second half, but the Senators continued to battle and managed to created a few quality opportunities.  The game would end 3-3. Ulster keeper Cody Baker (Kingston) was active all day, finishing with 11 saves.

Next up....Ulster will host Borough of Manhattan on Saturday 9/23 at Rondout Valley High School, kickoff is 1pm.
