A physical game right from the opening whistle. Both teams battled for the majority of the first half. BMCC would strike first in the 43th minute off a corner kick. They kept their lead into halftime. The Senators came out strong in the second half, but were unable to find the back of the net. BMCC doubled their lead in the 55th minute. Ulster continued to push and were awarded a PK in the 73rd minute that was converted by
Andrew Foster (Kingston). The Senators continued to push numbers forward but were unable to find the equalizer and the game ended 2-1.
Santiago Saavedra (Pine Bush) made 4 saves on the day. The physicality play led to 9 yellow cards on the day, 5 for Ulster and 4 for BMCC. With the loss, Ulster are now winless in their last three games with a 3-2-1 overall record and 2-0-1 in the conference play.
Ulster's next scheduled match vs Lackawanna has been rescheduled for Saturday October 5th, 6pm at Rondout Valley High School.
