Ulster controlled the tempo from the start of the game.
Caleb Nicolas (Washingtonville) opened the scoring in the 7th minute, assisted by
Andrew Foster (Kingston). Foster would pick up his second assist just seven minutes later, finding Pat Fornelos (John Jay) to give Ulster a 2-0 lead. Foster then added a goal to make it 3-0, assisted by
Max Maouris. The Senators would go up 4-0 in the 36th minute with a goal from
Carlos Turcois Perez (Monroe-Woodbury), assisted by
Mohamed Fadl (North Rockland).
Max Maouris (Kingston) headed home a corner kick in the 40th minute, assisted by Pat Fornelos (John Jay). Ulster took a 5-0 lead into halftime. The Senators continued to control possession in the second half. Seven minutes into the half another Pat Fornelos (John Jay) corner was headed home, this time by
Jack Moore (England). LaGuardia would get one back in the 53rd minute. The Senators would make it 7-1 in the 83rd minute when
Max Maouris (Kingston) scored his second goal of the day on an assist from
Gabe Auringer (Trinity-Pawling).
Santiago Saavedra (Pine Bush) started in goal and made 2 saves on the day. The win improves Ulster to 8-2-1 overall and 3-0-1 in conference.
