Joe DiMarco Sophomore : Joe DiMarco was a 2017 New Paltz High school graduate. He was a varsity starter and letter winner in baseball, football & basketball. He was team captain for his baseball & football teams. He received all section first team honors in both baseball & football. Was named 2016/2017 M. V. P. defensive back for section 9 football with 99 tackles in 12 games as a safety. He was also selected to second team all state for baseball & third team all state for football for 2016 & 2017. He led section 9 in all offensive categories for baseball in 2017. He led his team to a section 9 football title in 2016/2017 as well for the first time in 7 years. He attended Phoenix College as a freshman & earned a starting role in the highly competitive Arizona wood bat junior college conference. He was named among the top 10 C.B.L. summer league players for 2018 season and earned M.V.P. honors for his summer team the wappinger yankees. He will be pursuing a degree in sports sciences & looks forward to helping the baseball team here at Ulster to a successful winning season for 2019.
