STONE RIDGE, NY – Men's Soccer traveled to Albany, NY on Tuesday to take on non-conference opponent Bryant & Stratton College (Albany), defeating Bryant & Stratton by a score of 2-1.
It took a while for either team to strike the goal.
Anthony Murcia would break the ice in the 36:00 min on a through ball from
Javier Rodriguez. Murcia would score once again during the 57:00 min mark, giving the Senators a 2-0 advantage a few minutes into the second half. Bryant & Stratton scored their only point during the 88:00 min mark.
Cody Baker and
Eduardo Romero recorded 2 saves each for the Senators. Senators held the advantage over Bryant & Stratton on shots 19-7, shots on goal 8-2, and corners 7-0. Senators improve to (6-2-1) overall.
Senators return to action Saturday, October 1
st, as they hit the road to take on conference foe Westchester Community College. Kick off time is set for 1 p.m.
