Modou Badjie, Imari Harris, and Andrew Foster….
What do all three players have in common?
A lot actually….
- All three graduated from Kingston High School and played varsity soccer.
- All three played or coached for Kingston Thunder, the local youth football club.
- All three attended, graduated, were conference champions and all conference players while playing soccer at SUNY Ulster under coach Jamal Lis-Simmons.
- All three transferred to 4-year colleges to continue their academic and playing career.
- All three played for Kingston Stockade Futures, the U23 and U20 affiliate of Kingston Stockade FC.
- All three have now made appearances for Kingston Stockade's first team!
Last Saturday, May 16, Kingston Stockade FC played their season opener in New Jersey. The team came away with an impressive 3-0 win. In a special moment for SUNY Ulster, all three players were on the field together as the final whistle blew. A cool moment for them, our Ulster family, and the local community at large. We are lucky to have such great role models for our local youth to look up to!
Come out and support these amazing young men and the whole Kingston Stockade team this summer as the club is entering their 10
th season! Home opener tomorrow, May 23rd at Dietz Stadium, 6pm kickoff!
